“The Team that Baseball Forgot” – @HLKagency Documentary on the St. Louis Browns to Premiere on @TheNineNetwork

By lauradud84 / / Trailer for a new documentary, directed by Justin Tolliver and produced by his agency HLK. This is HLK’s first feature-length and hopefully not their last. Icing on the cake? Narrated by STL’s favorite hollywood export, Jon Hamm. The film premieres March 8th at 8 pm on Channel 9. Don’t worry, we’ll remind you. More info here. The St. Louis Browns: The Team That Baseball Forgot tells the story of the city’s second professional baseball team. Playing as the Milwaukee Brewers for just one season, the team relocated to St. Louis under a new name in 1902. Over the next 52 years, the St. Louis Browns lost 41 seasons, making the team arguably the worst team in baseball. But their legacy is one for the record books, complete with a World Series run, more than a dozen Hall of Famers, and a variety of colorful characters whose ballpark antics — not batting averages — brought fans through the gate. Produced and directed entirely in-house, nearly every department at HLK touched this documentary and we look forward to exploring new stories with clients in the year ahead. Be sure to check out the amazing website they made for the St. Louis Browns three years ago. We gushed all over it.
