By lauradud84 / / Join us for a happy hour reception celebrating the launch of Michael Eastman’s brand new poster series of Forest Park on Thursday, December 8, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center! The artist will be on hand to talk about his work and sign posters. Light refreshments, beer and wine will be served. Posters will be available unframed for $50 or framed for $125 — but if you buy your poster during this event you will receive a special 10% discount RSVP on Facebook The posters have been beautifully designed by St. Louis-based designer Paul Bussmann and printed on 100# Cougar matte paper by longtime local printer Advertisers Printing Co. All frames are made in the USA and sourced via locally owned ArtMart. As part of the formal launch of Forever: The Campaign for Forest Park’s Future, photographer Michael Eastman introduced this new series of Park images in collaboration with Forest Park Forever. St. Louis Magazine published an exclusive portfolio of these images in its November 2015 issue, offering a terrific introductory essay to the series and background about Eastman’s longtime interest in Forest Park.
