The social media strategist is responsible for strategizing, planning, executing, optimizing and reporting on social media campaigns.

The Social Media Strategist position services multiple client social media accounts. The position works with paid social media and serves as a resource to clients and staff as well as channel lead.

Relevant experience in paid social media, experience in or a passion for behavior change and social responsibility is a must.

Candidates should have at least three to four years of social media experience and excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, as well as complete confidence in managing client communications.

Superior candidates possess the ability to manage 10-15 cross-platform social client accounts as well as concept, execute, and report on various relevant influencer and brand partnerships/activations. We seek candidates who are inquisitive and driven, with natural charisma and a knack for collaborating!

 Lead and participate in strategy development initiatives for clients and new business pitches
 Manage multiple digital and social projects, liaising with client leads and prioritizing based on importance and budget
 Monitor market, cultural and social trends and interpret impact on audience behavioral shifts relevant to client business; relate changes to appropriate team members, and provide actionable insights and tactical recommendations
 Assist in developing insights and strategies from primary and secondary market research,
business analysis and competitive data and translate those insights into creative marketing
strategies; transform research insights into reports and strategy
 Collect and synthesize data across PESO channels (paid, earned, shared, owned) using various social listening and analytical tools
 Support the Amélie client team in providing overall analysis of social data across multiple
programs and social channels along with providing client-facing recommendations on campaign improvement
 Partner with the Paid Media Team to optimize client channel calendar, including influencer and added value campaigns
 Identify and execute opportunities to improve campaign performance, including analysis on creative and placement performance
 Troubleshoot ad errors, reporting discrepancies, and delivery issues
 Manage campaign budgets and complete monthly invoicing
 Help manage relationships with reps, vendors and media partners; seek out new partners who add value to the business

The ideal candidate is keenly strategic, versatile and insights-driven; someone who thrives in an energetic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.  In addition, the candidate should have:
 Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting social-related data
 Experience with real-time listening for real-time engagement (using tools like Pulsar, Nuvi,
Radian6, etc.)
 Experience with web analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc
 Skilled user of Google Business Suite tools and Google Analytics
 Understand client’s business requirements, and design reporting and analysis approaches
tailored to
 Ability to quickly pattern spot and surface actionable insights; separate signal from noise.
 Experience distilling complex data into simple KPIs and data visualizations / dashboards /
 Experience writing clear and concise presentations for client summarizing data insights,
outcomes and implications in a straightforward and enlightening way for clients
 Ability to collaborate and work well with others
 Ability to contribute to and recommend increasing levels of innovation in data and analytics
 Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and execute detailed, efficient and innovative paid social media campaigns
 Basic Knowledge of Extensive experience using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Snapchat
advertising. Pinterest advertising knowledge a plus, along with social media management tools like Sprout Social and Planable. Experience with project management tools like Basecamp and FunctionPoint are a bonus
 Knowledge of social media best practices as well as advertising creative process
 Agency experience and/or experience working with multiple accounts simultaneously
 Experience managing budgets of $30,000 and up
 Ability to manage daily workload and meet concurrent deadlines on multiple projects with strong attention to detail
