Vimeo Launches Tip Jar: Support the Creators You Love

Tip Jar allows anyone to contribute voluntary payments from $1 up to $500, before, during or after watching a video. Vimeo pays 85% of the gross revenue from these 'tips' to the creator of the film (after their 15% service fee). Vimeo Plus or Pro members are able to start using the service now. Find out more here.

Looks like what Noisetrade does for musicians. You download music and can leave a tip. Used to be up to $12, but might be more now.

Great idea but 15% seems kinda high imho.

@Danielle Noisetrade is a great idea but (on a subjective note) they don't have a very good portfolio of artists on there. Not to mention every album cover looks like it uses the Nashville filter.
