Created by Cagna Illumiations and designed by Italian company Luminarie De Cagna, this light cathedral was made from 55,000 LEDs — and stood as the symbolic entrance to the 2012 Ghent Light Festival.

Oh my goodness, that is really awesome. I hope the do that again and that I will be one of the blessed ones who get to see it. Sometimes there are things that are too beautiful for words and this is one of them.

There are things that LED lights can do and making a cathedral out of them with your money as an entrance to a light festival must have taken a lot of time.
