Walmart is on to something humorous & positive with these spots and we were curious as to what was going on. Fortunately, we had to look no further than within our own network to discover that the Minneapolis Egotist had already covered the campaign and interviewed Joe Alexander, GCD for Martin Agency:

We also knew that Walmart could own families like nobody else. When mom comes in and fills her cart, it’s usually for her family. We’re big fans of Modern Family (who isn’t?), so we wrote every script through that lens: funny, exaggerated truths.
