Momentum Picks up David Bonner @BonnerDavid as SVP/ECD

Momentum Worldwide has announced newcreative leadership for its St. Louis office with the welcoming of David Bonner as Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Director. In his role, Bonner will partner with Senior Vice President, General Manager Alison Sheehan and will be responsible for leading and inspiring the creative department in the St. Louis office, driving cutting edge thinking and delivering an exceptional creative product.
With expertise in audience participation and brand narrative, Bonner brings 17 years of creative experience to the position. This appointment marks histhird posting as a top agency creative. Bonner joins Momentum from topregional shop St. John & Partners where he helped set sales records for The Florida Lottery and Zaxby’s, one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurants. Other key accounts included the American Health Care Association, multiple Ford Dealer Association groups and the JEA, a Florida utility. Prior, he held his first top creative post at Doe-Anderson in Louisville. There, he helped lead work on Kohler, U.S. Tobacco brands Copenhagen and Skoal and the bourbon brand with the iconic red wax, Maker’sMark—which last year earned its way into the OBIE Awards’ Hall of Fame.
Previously Bonner was senior partner, creative director at JWT Chicago, where he helped win the Illinois Tourism business while securing various Kraft brands, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance and Western Union. Earlier, Bonner honed his skills as associate creative director at Toronto boutique GJP (now Blammo) continuing award-winning work for the Toyota Dealers Association and various regional accounts. He started his career at BBDO Toronto where his accounts included Apple, Bell Canada, Pepsi, Polaroid and Wrigley’s.
