Since Cinco de Mayo has shifted (thankfully) from Kiener Plaza to Cherokee Street, it's beginning to feel more and more like an authentic holiday and less like a reason to drink Marg's after work. Since it's on a Saturday this year, it's even more of a reason to saunter down to the mixed bag of cultural traditions and contemporary oddities. And, yes, to pound the margaritas like they won't exist come May 6th.
