This isn't totally surprising information, but we'll be interested to see how the City of St. Louis fares when they break it down further into creative class by counties.

Ah. More efforts by Richard Florida to earn consulting fees for his business? I was just thinking that what St. Louis needs is to enforce his over-simplified perspective on cities and the world in general.

The city/metro region breakdown is here: http://www.theatlanticcities.com/jobs-and-economy/2012/07/americas-leadi...

And I remain convinced that sustainable growth requires more than having a lot of creative people (a very loosely-defined term in the context of this article, which winds up being another word for "yuppie" or "BoBo") concentrated in one area.
