DartSTL Website Gallery - Toky

We were surprised by the smooth interactive and fluid functionality on the Dart STL Website (a fairly casual local photo event last month) until we realized who was behind the creation. Here's some nice insight on the event & website from Toky's lead Interactive Director, Jay David:
Curt von Diest (from FK) deserves praise for putting together such a great event, and managing this so well. This is the second DART (first one in 2009), and this one just ran very smooth and was a good time for everyone involved. It was nice to have everything from the registration to the site updates work so well... from the iPad registration forms tying in with Google docs where multiple people could update information easily, to using Square to get more people to donate money to Rebuilding Together St. Louis. I think using Square and not being cash only really helped raise a significantly higher amount of money for the charity.

TOKY was one of the sponsors, so also deserves credit for donating company time and efforts to both promoting the event, logo and design. It was probably one of the fastest designed sites I've done in a while. Tyler Craft (also a TOKY Developer) and I worked together to really do some things we personally had not tried before using Google Maps and our own TOKY content management system (Eero), and he made things happen fast and work well. Still some things to tweak, but I could probably say this about every site that we've done.
Also have to say I was surprised at how many people actually submitted photos, and good ones at that. Really great to see how many people have been excited about this project and have submitted great photos from over the city.
Oh and thanks to Schlafly for the beer at both events!
Amen to that.
Here's a few of our favorites (but really, there are many, many wonderful captures):
