Banyan Communications, a St. Louis/Atlanta-based healthcare communication, digital media, online training and social marketing firm, is hiring a Motion Graphics Artist in our St. Louis office.

For nearly 20 years Banyan has built a reputation as a leader in providing federal agencies, state governments, and both non-profit and for-profit clients with award-winning services; from media strategy and message development, through message dissemination and post-campaign evaluation…and everything in between.

We are looking for someone with outstanding storytelling abilities, who is confident in their skills and feels they are truly exceptional at their craft. Candidates should be passionate about designing and creating story-based graphics, and possess a superior knowledge of motion design and 3D. They should also be conversant in the latest trends in video/graphics/motion graphics with a solid understanding of typography, color theory and composition.

Candidates will be expected to present a positive attitude while working on multiple projects within a collaborative creative team - as well as possess the ability to self-motivate and support others in the Art Department. They should also be able to manage their time effectively, estimate timescales accurately, and keep our Creative/Art Directors apprised of the ongoing state of projects.

Specifically you should possess:

• Extensive experience with After-Effects, Photoshop and Cinema 4D or Maya.
• Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro.
• An understanding of the various aspects of the pre-production, production and post-production workflows, as well as the drive to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; an extremely high attention to detail as well as being a team player and independent thinker.
