Are you a fine artist with an array of interests looking for something substantial in the art world? Get active with the Luminary and pursue multiple interests at this artists resource center.

The Luminary has a year-round internship program that attracts some of the most talented and innovative people in the region to help in areas as diverse as curating exhibits, booking concerts, marketing and PR, and graphic/web design. We are interested in people with ambition and see the program as an incubator for new ideas, a place to train creative talent and an opportunity to empower young leaders.

Internships being offered include Media, Curatorial, Admin, Residency and Design.

This is not the weekend to go out of town.
There will be two, count them, two street fests tomorrow in two very vibrant yet completely separate areas of the city: Midtown Alley, which is host to an ever increasing portion of creative companies and The Grove which is host to an ever increasing demographic of liberally minded individuals and ideals. Basically - it's going to be a great day to walk around and get your drink on while listening to local music for free. *Pro tip*: Hit up Midtown Alley first as it starts at 10 am and swing by the grove later in the evening as it is a more conducive environment to 3 am revelry. You could theoretically drink for 17 hours straight.
