That's right. The mother of all industry parties is back with a vengeance this year. If you weren't there last year then you sure as shit need to figure out a way to get there this time around. Behold, the lengthy titled 2011 CFM Annual Fall Party aka Superfreak/Freakfest 2.

Free booze. Free Grammy Award winning entertainment. If the World Series goes to game 7 - you will find yourself in the heart of the city, dressed up and going wild with large flat screens airing the broadcast... this thing could get pretty damn serious if the stars align.

Click the link above (or image below) & RSVP your agency/creative company - hopefully they still have some tickets left. We'll be there, will you?

You talked about it for months…

You merely have cell-phone pics to remember the evening by…

Your liver is still mad at you.

Be careful what you wish for - because IT'S BAAAACK!

The 2011 CFM Annual Fall Party aka Superfreak/Freakfest 2!

Last year's party proved that the freaks certainly do come out at night - and now we are going bigger. badder. Halloweenier!

    The Details:
    Thursday - October 27, 2011. Roberts Orpheum Theatre. Doors @ 7PM, Entertainment @ 8:30PM

    The Lowdown:
Halloween costumes encouraged - time to get freaky, y'all.

    The Entertainment:
Get ready for not one, but TWO Grammy Award WINNING acts performing this year. (Had to go with #Winners thanks to Charlie Sheen) - Plus costume contests and special surprises throughout the night.

Because of the popularity of this party, CFM will be distributing FREE Tickets for the event. We will give one key person at each agency a handful of tickets to distribute. If you are not with an agency, you can contact Coolfire directly. Due to the nature of our entertainment, YOU WILL NEED A TICKET FOR ENTRY.

  • Better Life Soap & Lotion Packaging - Halski Studio

    / Comments (3)

More nice work from the prolific Halski Studio. We're digging the use of blended Rorschachian shapes, oozy vectors and lightning bolts working within a unique color pallete to liven up a potentially boring product that might normally be glanced over. We think the most interesting projects are the ones that reinvent commonplace services and products; it takes true creativity to make the old become new again.

Halski Studio developed the highly-anticipated line of natural soaps and
lotions for Better Life based around their strategy that although it's great
to leave the bathroom with clean hands, it's even better to leave with clean
hands and a kick ass attitude.

The Better Life packaging has most recently been featured in Taschen's book
"Top 50 Independent International Brands", Choi's Gallery, and Pie
    Publications (Japan) book "Supermarket Design".

  • "There's Not a Lot of Innovation Happening in St. Louis." - Jon Hamm

    / Comments (3)

Our friends over at Punching Kitty brought our attention to this interview of Jon Hamm/Don Draper kinda ragging on St. Louis. Needless to say, we're not very big fans of this, especially when it's coming from someone who moved away permanently 16 years ago and may not exactly be in touch with what's going on here any more.

Here's the snippet of the interview with some dumb ass, Marc Marion. (Listen to it at the punching kitty link above)
It’s a good town to be from and a good place to be a kid…but it’s very much a place where when you grow up you either work for your dad or you leave town.
There’s not a lot of innovation happening in St. Louis.
For whatever reason, I always wanted to get out of that place.
